For Kerrville-Schreiner Park: If in a big rig, it's much better to get off at the exit at the Pilot gas station and drive through town. If one gets off at exit 457, which is where Apple maps points, then one has very low trees and a narrow bridge to navigate. Going through town on Main Street was much better! There are nice camp spots alongside the river, some under trees with low hanging limbs and others in the clear. There is just enough room for a big rig with a toad to do a u-turn to get back out of the park without having to drive under the trees.

For Kerrville-Schreiner Park: We stayed on a crowded Saturday night on the hillside away from the river. To make matters worse we had a corner site that anyone driving in would have to pass.
Quiet, peaceful, and pleasant are the first adjectives we thought of. We arrived a few minutes before noon and the previous guests were still packing up. We assured theme we were not in a hurry and drover around the upper areas of the park. Very nice. The bathrooms are freshly cleaned and seemed to stay that way.
The full hook up pull through site was wide to offer some privacy. A few trees could make it better. Water pressure was fine. The electric worked with a quality pedestal that didn't make me flinch when I turned the breaker on. All in all a bargain at $26.

For Kerrville-Schreiner Park: We stayed a week on the river side of the park in the Sycamore loop. Site #210 is a little unlevel but nothing the coach couldn't handle. Good electricity 50 amps and water pressure was adequate. Plenty of room for coach and towed vehicle. Strange arrangement of utilities with water and electricity on one side of site and sewer on the other side. All the sycamore sites were like this. Well maintained campground with plenty to see in Kerrville and Fredricksburg. Be sure to leave time for the Nimitz museum and the LBJ park. We camped in a motor home with tow.

For Kerrville-Schreiner Park: Very pretty campground. We stayed on the hill side opposite the water. It was wooded with lots of trails. We had full hookups, and all was good. There was some shade, and the sites are spaced far enough apart to allow for privacy. We camped here when it was a state park, and now as a city owned park, it has the proper funding, and is improved greatly.
