River Ranch RV Resort

I read lots of reviews before choosing this place and thought we could handle a little bit of traffic noise. This place literally sits down in the center of two highways. Even with our AC blasting we could still hear tons of noise from the highways. It is literally a parking lot wedged below an entrance ramp to one of the highways. It is on a pretty stretch of river so there’s that. Very close to the Schlitterbaum which was our reason for staying. Would not choose this place again. I can’t figure out what the smell is here but it is not good

Small but has what you need including access to the Guadalupe River for kayaking and tubing. Lots of restaurants near by. If you can fit into site #19 it is very nice and somewhat private also on river.

This is nice clean well run RV Park with friendly staff. The park is right on the river with kayak rentals and a boat ramp. It's a typical RV Park with the rigs spaced close together. The BIG problem with this park is that it is directly under a bridge for I-35! The noise from the freeway is very loud and continues all day and night! The noise might be more acceptable if the park were cheaper, but we paid $32, one-half the normal rate, using our Passport Card. I can't understand anyone paying $64+ per night for a park with this amount of freeway noise!

River - yes / Ranch - no. Location is urban directly under the interstate , next to the river. Very Loud highway noise. Small concrete site was not level, with small grass area. RV Park is on at hill Stayed 4 days. Staff friendly, Park was clean. Verizon 3 bars- 4G. Won't be back! Too noisy

Freeway is noisy but the river is nice. The sites are not huge but nice. They did have a site big enough for my 42' fifth wheel and truck, fortunately it was available. Woman at the desk was very nice but the office closes at 5 during the week and I was not able to find the camp host to even get a bag of ice. I also stayed with PA discount and still got the site I needed! Very appreciative!
