Stayed here one night April 5 with a last minute reservation. Nice spacious and private sites, decent bathroom/shower, and quiet campground. Beautiful scenery and some awesome looking hiking trails. Pretty cool to have buffalo roaming the park and forcing you to yield to them on the roads! Poor Verizon signal.

The sites were spacious and level. There are hiking trails with beautiful views. The wild life was fun to see. The most incredible part of the stay was the Bison would actually walk thru the camp sites and graze. As long as you followed the park rules it was a safe and exciting thing to watch. I would go back in a heartbeat. I would recommend this campround.

Honey Flats Campground is spacious and quiet. Trees between campsites provide privacy and sound barrier. Hiking is great here- views from the Haynes Ridge loop make it worth the climb.

Really liked this campground. Reminded me of national park campgrounds with wide spacing and vegetation breaks plus extra services of full hookups parks don't have. Rustic shelter over picnic tables at each site. Great place for star gazing with clear view of Milky Way. Stayed only one night passing through. Would stay again - perhaps longer to explore park. Friendly and helpful staff.
