Laura

For Hidden Valley RV Park: Came through on a one night stay in early February with a 5 foot long 5th wheel. We got a site in the lower area near the creek, and even though there were recent rains the area was fairly dry. We camped on an area that was dead grass that did track back in and make a mess in our RV, but the site was large, easy to get into and sloped just right for us to remain hooked up for an easy take off in the morning. Cell coverage on Verizon was ok, did not use any wifi here. Camp is well run, and they are very pleasant to work with. They do have a lot of rules so be very careful to read them and be prepared to follow them. We did not use any facilities, but the lower area by the creek was peaceful and quiet. I would have like to have stayed a bit longer to really check this place out, but we had to go. I would come back. If you want space and privacy, opt for the spaces out to the south, by the creek area. Most are large back ins but there is plenty of room to get in and out.

For Hidden Valley RV Park: We were looking for dry camping options closer to San Antonio. This RV park was perfect! It was only about 20 minutes to the Alamo and the River Walk. The RV park itself was very nice and the owners were very friendly. The RV sites seemed spacious enough. They had a laundry room and a newer pavilion area with barbecue grills. The restrooms/showers were very nice and clean. The only negative is that they didn't have a dump station for the dry campers. We stopped at the Love's that is located off the same expressway exit. They had a dump station, but no potable water. AT&T was super fast in the dry camping area (70+ Mbps DL and 30+ Mbps UL). Note that the creekside RV sites may not have as good of AT&T service because they are at the bottom of a hill. They are located south of an Air Force base, so there was some jet noise during the day.

For Hidden Valley RV Park: We are staying here for the week for work at Lackland AFB. It’s super convenient to all the things you want to do in San Antonio but far enough away from the city to feel like you’re in the country. We were down in the lower level of the park by the river in a nice shaded spot (site16) but when the rain storms came in the owners asked us to all move up to the top due to flood warnings. They were super helpful and very concerned for our safety. We have enjoyed the park and would definitely stay here again. The WiFi worked awesome and the bathhouse is spacious, private and clean. There is a dog park for some needed off leash time for our dog. Terry and Mark were awesome!

For Hidden Valley RV Park: Nice quiet, well kept park. Everyone had a great helpful attitude. Had a bad 50 amp breaker and they replaced it immediately. We enjoyed watching the fireflies in the lower section. They recommended Benjamin's Kitchen (Mexican food) for breakfast and it was great.

For Hidden Valley RV Park: Very nice park. Stayed 2 nights in the lower section near the creek. THEY DO NOT HONOR GOOD SAM. We will definitely be back next time we go through San Antonio.
