For Big Creek Marina: I was there fishing yesterday and noticed they will charge $5 per rod. They need to post that on the entrance gate or website. Before, they charged $5 per person to fish the lake and yesterday there was a guy in grey Jeep demanding $5 per rod or he will kick me out. He was so rude me and this will be the last time for me fishh there. I will go to Welch park from now on. It is much cleaner and beautiful perk.

For Big Creek Marina: This park is great if you have a group of campers going together. This lake was hit with a couple HUGE flood events and unfortunately, they have lost a lot of trees. Not of their doing though. The sites have plenty room around them for slides and such. The loop in the 80's-90's have crushed granite as the pad base. You can take ATVs, golf carts here (anything with a steering wheel, not handle bars). There are a couple restrooms/showers. The store is getting back on its feet again and now has bait too. The boat ramp is operational. Most of the sites have a view of the water. There are deer and several types of birds here. There are always boaters and fishermen around. 30 and 50 amp sites, a few have full hookkups. There is a dump station if you don't have a FH site. Theya are currently working on the cabins and will have them available again sometime soon. Park staff has always been friendly to me.

For Big Creek Marina: I had been going there for over 30 years. Had enjoyed it greatly. But since they reopened, the staff attitude has changed. Not the young girls one pregnant, they were very nice. But the lady who checked us in, she smiles, first time back she charges us more as a mixed couple, others 5 dollars for fishing during the day, she charged us 10. You pay 20 dollars for overnight. She insist we pay for two night. And then while you are camping she and others comes around your camping area making racial comments,telling people if they don't want to move away from the niggers. And on the fourth my sister and her husband was camping overnight, they pulled up in a truck headlights on the tent, and a young man name Mike, yells I like women, I like beer, but I hate niggers. I never taught something like that would happen after so many years of going there. Many minorities used to go there all the time. They stopped going, now I know why. Big Creek marina has become a place where minorities are not welcome, don't go there, it you will be harassed.👎

For Big Creek Marina: Bathrooms were terrible. Checked them first and left.
