For Caverns of Sonora RV Park: Great place to stop off I-10 for camping. Super quiet from road or traffic noise. They have several Peacocks that are quite vocal and fun to watch. The tours in the cavern are small and intimate and enjoyable. Ours was short due to Covid restrictions (only an hour). The restrooms are clean. They have a variety of camping options for all rig sizes. No dump station. We have stayed here three times arriving even after hours. Staff is friendly.

For Caverns of Sonora RV Park: So location, location, location ISNT everything. Great location but poor, borderline rude customer service/campground policies. We pulled in about 1:30 and there were two other RVs in the CG. Asked if we could be at the end away from the other two rigs. We were told “No you go where we put you.” Ummm what? So we drove down to the pull through we were “assigned” and found it worse than we’d thought. We were literally less than six feet from the RV next to us. So we promptly requested a refund and went down the road another hour down the road to the state park, paid five dollars less for a much nicer sight in an even better location. So there is a silver lining.

For Caverns of Sonora RV Park: We stayed two nights and did the cavern tour. Highly recommended. Pull through for our 42’ with towed was pretty easy sense it was not busy. They have no sewer or dump so come prepared. We were lucky as we had just missed the storm the day before it was lots of snow on the ground to the west but things were dry. They have an amazing gift shop. We would come back another time.

Lakeside Terri

For Caverns of Sonora RV Park: I stayed 3 nights. Got here early enough that I got pull thru spot 25 next to trees which was nice as the spaces are tight (but fine for my 27’ travel trailer). No reservations in advance. $25 per night for water and electric. Without a boost, signal strength was 1-2 bars on Verizon. I’d stay again but probably only one to two nights. Not too far from freeway and via decent roads. No tight turns. Loved the free roaming peacocks that I saw each day here. Also spotted an armadillo walking the dog along the road (no trails but road to caverns is wide, open and not too busy). Shower was not that clean but water was hot and plentiful. Staff very friendly and helpful.

For Caverns of Sonora RV Park: Nice quiet quaint place. Off the beaten path but worth the drive. We just overnighted here. No traffic noise. No lights so the stars were so bright. Tight pull through sites but we were the only ones camping so it didn’t matter. We’ll definitely stay again when we are in the area. AT&T signal was only 1 bar but with the weboost had enough to stream so we were good.

Steve

For Caverns of Sonora RV Park: Second time to camp at this site. Level spots, pull through, with water and power. No sewer. Away from highway and other distractions or noise. Cavern a must see. Wonderful staff.
