For Pace Bend Park: Great county park. Spent a ton of time scrabbling around rocks with the kids. We went over Spring Break, so swimming was a bit too cold. During the hot summer, try renting a pontoon boat from the nearby marina and spend the day checking out all the swimming spots. Ton of trails for mountain biking with cool wooden ramps. We stayed in an RV with water and electric hook ups.

For Pace Bend Park: Unfortunately the county’s new rate policy has made this great park mediocre at best. Instead of $15/night to primitive camp you are now required to pay a $5 entry fee for each person, per day, plus the overnight camping fee of $15 dollars. Mak in bb it effectively $25/nt to primitive camp for a party of two. At 15 the place is a gem. At 25 it simply isn’t worth it considering the conditions in the primitive camp (severely lacking in maintenance) and the lack of amenities here.We would been regulars here but won’t be back until/if they make changes to their rate structure.

Brian
For Pace Bend Park: This is an amazing county park (there's a similarly named private rv park at the entrance)
I was able to dry camp my 26ft class C in a spot at the edge of the cliffs overlooking the lake. Was amazing. There are lots of dry camping spots that are spaced out well. not sure about the sites for RVs with hookups. The west side is more open with water access.
Will come back for sure!

For Pace Bend Park: The park was clean. Restrooms nice and clean. Owner was pleasant too.
