For Tye RV Park: This is a place for a quick overnight stop on the Interstate, just outside Abilene. As mentioned in other review highway noise, trains coming through, and then during the day more, planes from the air force base. We had AC going so drowned out the noise and we slept fine. If you sleep with windows open, no AC, there will be no sleep. Sites were gravel, fairly level, and typical hookups. Didn't use bath house but is code locked for access. Easy in and out which was all we were looking for. Fuel and food nearby.

For Tye RV Park: Sites are out in open and directly below a runway of Dyess Air Force Base.
Traffic is (estimate) 1,500-2,000 feet AGL and they're flying things I've only read about.
If you want a good nite's sleep, you won't get it here.
