For Areas 5-8 - Tyler State Park: Wonderful State Park, hiking, biking, relaxing, very nice scenic view from our campsite number 31 Area 2. Some of the campsites are not very level. We camped in a 40 foot motorhome. Definitely will come back.

For Areas 5-8 - Tyler State Park: We have been coming here for years mountain biking (great trails) and decided to come spend a weekend in our travel trailer. It was sold out so make sure you get a reservation beforehand (we did). We stayed in Big Pines (lake view was sold out) and it was nice, has water, elec and sewer, the spots aren't super level but manageable with leveling blocks. The other campers are quiet and nice. The only issue and why I didn't give it 5 stars is the dirt and mud everywhere, it's hard to keep anything clean when even the roads are muddy. When we walked our dogs they needed a bath everytime. We were in a 32' TT with a crew cab F150 and had plenty of room, pull thru sites that would be tight with something real big (rocks and bollards to keep people on the roads/pads).
