Nicely kept park. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Nice spacing between sites. The bathroom and roads have been updated. Some sites have more water retention when it rains but most are fairly level. Gates do close at 10pm but there is parking just outside the gate and it’s easy to walk in to your site if needed. You are limited to a total of 28 days. Park is right on the lake.

The campground is somewhat rundown. As others have said, its in need of serious road maintenance and grass cutting.
Some trailers are here longterm, but they are "reasonably" kept up.
There are no sewer hookups, only water and up to 50 amp electric. There is a dump outside the entrance gate that can be used by campers for free, or $4 for non campers.
There are bathrooms with toilets, sink and hot shower.
Nightly rate is $30, which seems high for partial hookups.
Campground closes at 10pm and they lock the gate and there is no access code. If you come in after 10, you'll have to park outside the gate and walk in.
RV sites are well spaced. Good cell service and OTA TV.

Nice campground and clean. Here in March so grass hasn't grown yet but mowed and attractive. Entrance road is rough but potholes are avoidable. Hosts polite and friendly. Boat ramps and lake access closed due to 12 inches of rain last week and high water. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay

Dont stay here. Several motorhomes here look inoperable and something out of breaking bad. Scary looking. Grass is at least a foot high and front office staff says command wont fix the mower or pay for gas. The road has 3 by 6 by two feet deep car eaters. Worse than offroading in colorado. Called dallas headquarters to complain and they just passed the call to the campground manager, who clearly does not give a rats backside. Calling national headquarters tomorrow. If you come, spray for ticks, you dont want to get erlichia.

Wow has this park gone downhill. The only redeeming quality is 50% off for senior pass. We stayed here three years ago and I'm sure there has not been a lick of maintenance to this place since. The road is almost not passable. Holes deep enough to nearly swallow our jeeps tires. Yes bugs and more bugs. Boat launch is closed. No efforts to repair and reopen. Doesn't look like the grass has been mowed this year at all. If we hadn't prepaid for a week, I seriously would consider leaving after first night. So sad. Most ACE parks are great. But not this one!

Rudest and nastiest campground hostess we have had the displeasure of encountering. Rude at reception and condescending to female disabled veterans; portrayed a mentality that my wife could not have served much less should have a discount for camping here. Secondly, after informing the campground host (her coworker) we were leaving but might return after 10:00PM, he replied you can't drive back in after 10:00PM because the gate closes automatically. However, when we returned a few minutes before 10:00PM cell phone time -the gate was locked up and the reception office was dark! When we drove through the open 'out' gate, she came out of her trailer to tell us to get out and park outside because we didn't make it back by 10pm! I asked her if I could drop my wife and baby off and she said, no and if I didn't park outside the park, we would be evicted immediately! What a nasty woman. I am not sure who in the Army Corps of Engineers chain of command I can write to file a legitimate complaint, but this hostess is no hostess! She is a nasty, unsympathetic woman who closes the gate early and seems to dislike young disabled female veterans.
Otherwise the park is well below average. It has aging infrastructure, crumbling lake access and nasty bath houses, no pest control, lots of spiders in the picnic table areas, large mosquitos and ants. We camp and RV about 5 months per year, the bugs are among the worst we have encountered.
On the positive side, the sites are roomy. But, I would Avoid if possible.

Super nice grassy park. Roomy sites with plenty of space between rigs. On the lake. Covered picnic tables.
