For Rivers Edge at Deer Park Resort: Bless their hearts, but the two ladies working the front desk are not suited for the hospitality business. They are so afraid of getting Covid, that they make you feel like an unwanted relative with leprosy. Bathrooms, showers and laundry are closed because they fear the virus. They must be the only employees as the park looks sorely neglected.

For Rivers Edge at Deer Park Resort: Level, gravel, pull-through site. Located at the base of reservoir. Lots of grassy areas and tress. Friendly, helpful staff. Cabins and yurts available to rent. Cute little store on site. Wood fires allowed if no wind. Wood available at site store. Clean, safe campground. We would definitely stop here again.

Following our dreams
For Rivers Edge at Deer Park Resort: We pulled in on a Friday and the site they had for us us too small for our rig. They were very accommodating and worked diligently to rearrange things and find us better spot. We ended up in the overflow area which actually was very nice. Close quarters but we backed up to the river and had lots of open space behind us. We were here for 5 day and highly recommend. If we ever are back in the area this is where we will stay.

For Rivers Edge at Deer Park Resort: RV park close to Jordanelle Dam about 4-1/2 miles from Heber City and Midway. Sites are gravel with some having grass areas that are weeds at this point. Only 8 of the pull through sites (#’s 2-9) are big rig friendly being longer than 60’. Other pull through sites are approximately 50’ and difficult to impossible to park larger (36’ Fifth Wheel) and truck. Be sure to give them your total length to make sure you have enough room to park. Access to Middle Provo River across the road. There’s also a stream that runs through the back of the campground and a small fishing pond. Easy to bicycle out of the campground. Nice campground store. Verizon and AT&T 2 bars of LTE service. Good WiFi. Able to receive mail, UPS & FedEx.

For Rivers Edge at Deer Park Resort: We were so pleased to find a quiet location just about 15 minutes off of I-80. Worked very well for us to get away from traffic on a road trip. Nice setting too! Below the dam for a large reservoir. Very low key in June, but this is a fly Fishing resort so it will be busy later in summer! River across the street from the RV park, creek along the back of the property. Lots of grassy area and room for groups to get together, but RV spaces are close together. Sites are fairly level. Bathrooms clean but small if entire resort were full. Many little cabins on property, too. Although we were just passing through, seems like a good base location for enjoying the beauty and activities of the Utah mountains. (Very close to Park City.) We will return.
