For Paiute Campground: Open, level, paved campsites, some with tables or fire rings. Next to Johnson Valley reservoir. Two Vault toilets, three water butts. Close to paved forest road 640. Usually uncrowded. From Independence Day there are herds of cattle wandering through the camp, leaving a mess and flies. Great views, peaceful.
