Little Lytle’s

For Hill AFB Famcamp: This has been my family's go to spot for the Salt Lake area. When I ask the kids where they want to go for Spring Break, nearly every year it's the Hill AFB FamCamp. Next to the track and running path and football field, across from the gym. Close drive to the Trax/commuter train for easy way to get to downtown Salt Lake. It can get loud as it's close to the runway and the fighters are taking off. But it is an Air Force base. To us that's the sound of freedom. I stay here 2-3 times a year.
Easy pull through sites. Nice clean showers, bathrooms and laundry. I bring the dogs and they have a nice dog run. The staff is friendly and always check up on us.
At $20/night you can't go wrong.

Andy

For Hill AFB Famcamp: This is an excellent place to stay. Clean restrooms and showers, close to px and commissary. Most of the sites are back in, and long enough to fit my 29' motorhome with 12 ft trailer. The staff and host are friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Chief Todd

For Hill AFB Famcamp: Very nice FamCamp, 50 spots, FHU, 50 Amps, ten pull thru, all 50 are spacious, no homesteaders. Host very friendly, met us Sunday evening, as soon as I pulled in.
$20.00 a night.

Big Mac

For Hill AFB Famcamp: We have stayed here several times and it has always been pleasant. They keep telling us that wifi will soon be accessible at the sites - right now just in the clubhouse. The ladies bathroom lock has not worked in years - but it'll be fixed - soon. Other than that, it is close to all things on base and short drives to many historical sites.

McFamily

For Hill AFB Famcamp: I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Initially when trying to make a reservation for 22 days while we are PCSing, the host gave us a little bit of a hard time. He said, "well I don't know where I'm gonna put you, all I've got is gravel." When we looked around there were a ton of spots open. We got checked in and set up and everything has been very nice. Relatively quiet, other than the background noise from the nearby streets. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry rooms. My kids love it because of the nearby playground. The walking, biking trails around here are nice and close too, which is convenient. There is a small, well kept, off leash dog run too.

Ron

For Hill AFB Famcamp: This is a really nice military FamCamp. What made it even better is the camp hosts..Barb and Steve. We were lucky enough to be parked next to them, and they are superb hosts. There is a newer and older section to the park. We were in the older section, but it was fine. You will find some typical "engineering" issues which you find at many FamCamps...water on opposite side of your coach, weird layouts, etc., but all in all, a great place to stay. If you come in the south gate, take your first left, but be careful...speed bumps, road barriers...you name it. Turn in before the one way sign. This will take you down to the office where there is a gravel lot that you can park to check in. If you go down the one way, you'll have to work your way back around to the left to get to the office...not too bad, but would have been better if we'd gone in the first entrance. Thank goodness Steve was out and about and guided me to where we needed to go. We stayed here in a 36' motorhome.
