BRS

For Utah Lake State Park: The sites are nice, especially on the outside of the circle. I never entered the restroom. Staff are very friendly. No mosquitoes when I was there, late May, but I could understand how there would be plenty of mosquitoes. Camp rules specify 8 people per site. One group had 17 percent. If you are going to have rules then enforce them, or tell us which rules are ignored

Rosalind Franklin

For Utah Lake State Park: The views are worth it and there is a wetland with good birding. Very little shade, The restrooms were clean enough, but the showers had no ventilation; felt like I was in a sauna. Do not think I’ll return here again.

Stowaways

For Utah Lake State Park: Drive through the camping area before you make your reservation! Although the park appears to be on open water, no such luck. It’s a small loop with close nit sites, limited shade and somewhat sketchy electrical. Our breaker has already tripped once. Okay for an overnight stay, but a bit of a let down. Incredible views of nearby mountains, but maybe opt to use the lush day use facilities and then camp elsewhere.

Dreamers and Travele

For Utah Lake State Park: We stayed here 4/27-5/2/2017. We have traveled for years all over US and Canada. This is one of the worse maintained and ran campgrounds we have ever stayed in. They lock the front gates at 10 pm and there is no way to get in after that time. No walk in gate nothing. No overflow parking. You pay 15.00 to park extra vehicle in park and any guests are charged $10.00. People drive in and park in empty camp spots to walk their dogs for free, hike etc. campers foot the bill for those individuals apparently. Dirty sites, with garbage in the fire pits. Hosts nor rangers clean them out. Tried calling park phone number and no answer, we left numerous VM and no calls returned. The only positive is the view. Won't stay again nor recommend.

Darleen

For Utah Lake State Park: Loved our 2 night stay here even though it was cold and windy. would have stayed longer but for other places to be. Beautiful views all around. Nicely kept grounds. Bike/walking trails easy to find. Provo not far away. Washroom/shower building could have been cleaner but not awful. Good TV reception on antenna. AT&T cell available. Felt very spacious but not nearly full during our stay. Would love to come back for longer.
