For Elizabeth Furnace Recreation Area: Nice little spot. $10 a night no water or electric at spot. Spots are spaced out. Very clean. Park was not officially open so flush toilets weren’t open but vault toilets, garbage, and a nice hand pump for drinkable water. Unfortunately we had the experience of young people partying all night long. No camp host yet so it went on ALL night long. There was a man that claimed to be a “volunteer” camp host but he certainly didn’t say a thing to them. Plus a trailer that looked to be living there, ran his generator all day up to 10:30 pm.

For Elizabeth Furnace Recreation Area: I use to bring my kids here when they were little and now Motorcycle camp here from time to time. Great place not far up in the mountains. Year round vault toilets and showers and flush after May. Campsites are far enough apart to have some privacy and there are some good ones near the creek. Rate is now $20.00 a night used to be half that.
