For KOA Holiday Fredericksburg: Lovely drive after getting off the interstate and nicely tucked back in the countryside. Lots of different sites, some more shady, others more sunny, some with a view of the water, etc. You need to check out all of the difference as they are priced accordingly. We had a planned 3 night stay and I was able to book the exact site I wanted and it was very beautiful. We didn’t stay in camp too much as we had family close by and that was the main reason for the stop. But while there everyone was friendly and helpful. The pool had not opened yet, but there were getting it ready. We would return in the future for another stay.

For KOA Holiday Fredericksburg: As others have said this is a very nice family oriented KOA. Clean bathrooms. Well kept pool. Cute water features. While it appears to be close to the 95 freeway it is several miles from the nearest freeway on-ramp. ATT and Verizon both had 1 useless bar but the on site wifi is lightning fast. I was reminded that I need to lie about the length of my coach at KOA as they will assign you the absolute smallest space even when plenty of larger spaces are open. $45/night seemed very reasonable when the county parks are ~$60.

For KOA Holiday Fredericksburg: Very nice park with pristine facilities. Level sites. Only downside is that WiFi is poor as AT &T cell service.

For KOA Holiday Fredericksburg: We stayed the middle of January 2020. Other reviews talk about how beautiful it is...during the winter, it was a cold, dark, dank place. We were assigned site E35 which was a short, uphill site (we have a 19’ trailer and the KOA reservation system asked for the length of your trailer—I will lie next time—no wait, there won’t be another KOA stay for us). We checked in just before the office closed, so when we realized how awful the site was, the fact that we had to pull so far forward to have any hope of being level, so our tow vehicle stuck out into the road, the office was closed. Since it was a rainy, cold and very dark night, and we were tired, we would have preferred to not disconnect. And once we have unhooked and set up, we aren’t going to move. So incredibly disappointed that we were assigned this crummy spot when there were other much better sites in our area for both nights we were there. When I complained at checkout, I was assured the manager would call me. That didn’t happen. And it was $55 per night, which was not cheap. The bathroom and shower area was clean, otherwise I would rate one star.

For KOA Holiday Fredericksburg: Our favorite KOA thus far. Lovely setting. Lots of long pull through sites amongst the trees - but there are also some great unshaded sites for folks using a satellite dish. Bath house has private shower rooms. Paved roads with gravel site pads - which appear to be very level. Place was almost full when we visited but didn’t feel crowded

For KOA Holiday Fredericksburg: Place is clean. That was a plus. Otherwise we had a very disappointing experience. We started to hook up after being assigned a site and then were told we had to move. At 2:45am a Class A rig pulled in along the road directly next to our camper, unhooked their vehicle and spent 15 minutes figuring out a sight while they kept everything running. The campground allows for after hours checkin which can be helpful for any of us traveling along the road but 2:45am is a bit much. $60+ for a poor nights sleep just doesn’t seem right.
