For DC - Pohick Bay Regional Park: Short 2 nights stay so did not do much at park. It’s pretty and easy off 95. Our site 33 is for large RV but hard to get I to because of trees. Site very un level Check out is 11am and they do hunt you down when your not gone they will charge more.

For DC - Pohick Bay Regional Park: A bit pricey, but this is a beautiful place to camp in the fall. We loved our 3 day weekend here so much that we ended up going back for Thanksgiving weekend! Many large spaces with a variety of hookup options, all gravel spaces. New electrical podiums at every spot with 50/30 at all. Our favorite elec/water spot is 24, almost completely level and very deep back-in spot the backs to the center field. Our favorite full hook-up spot is 50, though it is on a hill. Our 22’ TT sat perfectly level at the top of this site and gave us lots of privacy because it is spaced so well from neighboring spots. Pull- through spots require some serious leveling gear on hand (#17 we needed about 6-7” on right side to get “almost” level). Comfort Stations were clean and also have laundry ($2 wash/$2 dry quarters only, no change machine on site). Dump station by entrance/exit/store. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and helpful, and played a big part in our return visit! Can’t wait to return in Spring and Summer to access the seasons amenities we didn’t get to check out yet. Very quiet park during the fall, and if you are okay with $40-$50ish per night, this is a wonderful place to visit!

For DC - Pohick Bay Regional Park: This is the second time we’ve stayed. The park is very nice and depending on your site can accommodate a large Class A. Ours it 44’ and we had plenty of room. New 50 Amp service recently installed on what looks like all sites. Some sites have water and some don’t, but you fill up at teh park office. Dump station near the office. This is very close to both Alexandria and DC.

For DC - Pohick Bay Regional Park: Very quiet park very clean they have trash pick up At the site. The waterpark is awesome. The only thing to supporting was there wasn’t any small play places for very small children. AT&T Verizon and Sprint had available streaming service. On my list of places to visit again.

For DC - Pohick Bay Regional Park: A very nice wooded and quiet park with lots of space and nature around. There's a water park very near the campground (extra charge) - wasn't open during this time of year but looked neat from our drive by. They have a nice playground and a trail that leads to boating and kayaking (extra cost) on the Potomac. We saw bald eagles flying above the river and cool shells in the banks. DC is a short drive from here - just 25 miles and it took about 35 - 45 minutes in the traffic, which worked out great for our crew. It doesn't feel that close though because it was so peaceful and quiet. We ended up being here during a big nor'easter and got snowed on. The trucks came by frequently plowing the roads even inside the camping areas so we felt very confident that they were on top of things. We ended up staying an extra day and left after the snow melted a bit. Taking off one star because we felt it was a bit pricey ($49 per night) for being a rustic park.

For DC - Pohick Bay Regional Park: This place is a diamond in the rough! Campsites are beautiful and so well maintained. We are in a 41' Mountain Aire and booked early to get a lovely site, although the larger sites are scarce. Check when you book as the sites vary from tenting to RV full hook ups. Proximity to D.C. Is excellent but you would never know how close you are. Granted, we are well insulated, but peace and quiet reigns! Rt 1 South has a 13'4" bridge but there is an alternate route in so check your clearance. This is our second visit and we will be back!
