Griffey Inc

For American Heritage RV Park: Very nice campground. Level sites. Staff was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Kids enjoyed the paved roadways for riding their bikes. Very pet friendly. We’ll be back for sure.

ExpeditionNH

For American Heritage RV Park: Very well laid out sites, all fairly roomy. We chose to stay on one of the premium sites (019) on the end of a row, it had a fire pit and a patio chair/table/umbrella all set up which was nice for dinner.

Very convenient off I-64 but be warned, the first time you get there you may miss the road - you're turning into a residential neighborhood (with a Menonite Church on the corner), but have no fear, you're on the right road!

Cable and wifi worked very well. Campground is very well maintained and is close to many of the area attractions. Grocery store just up the road (camp store is not very well stocked).

We stayed here for 10 nights - it was our base camp for the night, spent our days sightseeing so basically is was just a place to sleep. Would definitely go back.

Hamgva

For American Heritage RV Park: 4 th of July with family. Rented a cabin, a park model and a space for our 39 ft RV. Basketball court, pool, blowup water slide. We all had fun. 6 adults. 9 kids. And we even were able to shoot our legal fireworks from the safety of the outdoor basketball court.

Family guy

For American Heritage RV Park: Not very family friendly for example the pool has hours of 4pm-6pm in which toys are allowed the staff will complain if toys are out at other times the other problem with the time family fun time is at this time of day the older retired adults come and take up shallow end of pool and through a ball so kids have no room to. Either extend family fun time, have no seniors in pool at that time or be less of a problem to kids when they are having normal pool fun. Also I have never been to a pool where jumping off the edge is not allowed and quickly monitored by staff. The campground is conveniently located off I 64 which makes it easy to get to but the traffic is also very easy to hear beaxuse the site is 500 feet off interstate.
