For Birch Bay State Park: Great tree covered state park. Some really old growth trees. You can see your neighbors but the is space between sites. Bathrooms clean. 5G on T-Mobile. Easy access walk to the beach.

For Birch Bay State Park: Great state park. We stay here every summer when we travel to the Pacific Northwest. Clean restrooms. Level sites. Lots of foliage.

For Birch Bay State Park: Lovely wood grove near the Bay. Quiet. Good late check-in process. We arrived for “first come first served†after midnight and found pretty spot. Nice! Cell service was fine but we love it when it isnt good, so we dont tether ourselves to phones when traveling and in vacation.

For Birch Bay State Park: WA state park. We choose a economy site for $20 since we don’t need hookups. It is shady and you can walk to the bay. Below average campground in my opinion.

For Birch Bay State Park: The state parks are getting expensive, maintenance minimal, sites poorly designed. These parks are mostly thickly wooded, so if you value sunshine, or want to use your satellite system, forget it. But if you're a hiker or enjoy beachcombing, it would work. Not for us though
