For Charbonneau Park: I agree with previous camper. Signage needs to be placed along roads directing you to the park. I’m sure neighbors get tired of us Rvers turning around in their driveway!!
Great park, our experience is that the Corp of Engineers campgrounds are well maintained and provide positive experiences.
We had full hook up, reservations only. Not a problem through Rereato. Gov. Well patrolled, never did see anyone regularly at gate.
Our space was very long, prrfect for our 28 foot trailer.

For Charbonneau Park: Well maintained Army Corps facility with full hookup sites, as well as electric-only sites (the other reviewer must have stayed in one of those and not realized there were sites with sewer and water too). Also plenty of pull through sites if you bring your boat. Lk Sacajawea is good sized and pretty, great fishing in the fall. Boat ramp is short but steep and an easy launch. Good sized marina with fuel and supplies — lot of houseboats here for the summer. Only open through Sept 30 this year, seems to vary year-to-year and the Corps isn’t real good about making this info easy to find. The campground itself is great, definitely geared for RVs and boaters, plenty of shade. The only downside is there’s a train that runs past a few times a night, and you’ll occasionally get a whiff of cow crap from somebody’s farm nearby.

For Charbonneau Park: Beautiful well maintained RV park with new asphalt roadways. Electric, 50 amp I believe. Spectacular, close to river views and short term( 2 week) stays, so newer, more modern RV’s around. BUT: no water hookups or sewer hookups. Bring your blue boy and 5 gallon water jugs and arrive with a tank full of water.
