For Minnie Peterson Campground: Wonderful they did check my pass but it was hanging from van mirror so they just looked at and seen it was just me. They have a store close by the clerk was so kind. Rustic and had a real camping feeling.

For Minnie Peterson Campground: Stayed here two nights in March. With the purchase of a Discover Pass its free which is why I gave it three stars. It has no services except a pit toilet...no water. The sites are a bit soggy because it is a rainforest! Provided easy and low cost access to the Olympic National Park Hoh Rainforest section.

For Minnie Peterson Campground: A Discovery Pass ($30 annually) is required but with that in hand you can stay here for free. I stayed here as an overnight before heading into the Hoh Rainforest of Olympic National Park.

Only 3-4 sites were occupied during my August mid-week stay. I had 3 bars of Verizon 4G LTE service. It was quiet even though the Upper Hoh Highway is adjacent.

On the downside, there isn't anything to do here except relax in your campsite. And the hornet traps hanging in a tree in each site was not a good sign - but they weren't much of a problem for me.

If you need a spot to get off the road for the night, this will do the trick
