For Eightmile Campground: Site says big rig accessible but that is not the case. Glad we drove through before we went camping here. I would suggest nothing larger then 30ft and you better be a expert RVer because it will be tight. 25ft or less is what the campground was designed for. Awesome campground not suitable for big RVs.

For Eightmile Campground: View from Eightmile Campground spot 18 was awful! Wish I could post pics. We were between the two host sites, in a site intended for a co-host....looking at the back of one host camper and two sheds, complete with septic pumping into the ground and essentially a junkyard on the one side of us, electrical cord running through our site overhead. It was a "lovely" view from the fire pit. Not sure how they think it's okay to make threat a reservable spot without seeing it first! Was not the out of doors experience we were after. Whatever you do don't pay over $100 for 2 nights for spot 18. We ended up going up to upper Johnny Creek instead...and paying again. --August 12, 2019

For Eightmile Campground: Our 49th year of camping (sleeping in a tent is camping; nothing else is) so we can speak with some authority. Some of the sites here are very nice and we will return in 2018. I don't think that the sites that would accommodate RVs are very nice, though.

For Eightmile Campground: Great campground! Large spots with good privacy. Friendly hosts. We stayed here twice this year and are planning a rip back next year. The loop by the river is a little tight and only a couple of spots that our 34' fifth wheel fits in.

For Eightmile Campground: Beautiful area in a shady canyon 8 miles out of Leavenworth. Campsites are large, private, well spaced apart. A little tight for our 40 ft motorhome, but doable. Vault toilets. Camp host was very friendly. Lots of trees and shade. A few degrees cooler than in town. Highly recommend.

Campers
For Eightmile Campground: The camp hosts were rude and charged us twice for parking claiming we didn't pay the first time. They woke us up at 6 am by yelling hey its time to pay your parking fee. They were harassing us the night before telling us it was time to go to bed at 9 pm. We weren't even making a disturbance while the people across from us were making a lot of noise. However, the camp host bee lined straight to our site and began to chew us out and tell us we were misbehaving. It seems to me that Mr. Miller had it out for us because we were probably the youngest group there and figured we would be a problem. This was not the case, he was harassing us and I will making a complaint to the Forest Services.

For Eightmile Campground: Great campsite at eight mile. We stayed in number seven, slight noise due to traffic, but nothing like a freeway. Very spacious campsite, we had a huge tent we ordered from the UK. Restrooms were close, needed some toilet cleaning, but I always bring clorox wipes so I did it myself. They really have dumpsters close for your garbage too.
