For Hoh Campground - Olympic National Park: Beautiful campground. A loop is mostly in open grass Meadow, B loop is mostly in mature old growth forest. Bathrooms immaculate, hotel quality and modern. No showers. No power or hook ups in B loop, but we dry camp. Not sure about other loops. $24 a night. Plenty of hiking opportunities. Saw lots of wildlife including 15 elk. I would give this five stars if not for the ridiculous policy of same-day reservations. We could only book one night on Rec.gov. We were told that sites come open due to cancellations and we can get on the list for a site. You must be present in person at the ranger station at 10 AM to request a recently opened site to purchase for that evening. (We wanted to our extend our stay one night). We had to vacate, pack up and wait until 1 PM for the park to release and sell the site! Makes sense if there are dozens of people wanting sites. But we were the only request for one of the half dozen open sites. We wasted three hours waiting for the Ranger to process this single request. Be prepared to waste half your day if you need to extend your stay.

Just a Camper
For Hoh Campground - Olympic National Park: Loved this very scenic campground. We were early enough to get a spot right on the river. It is a NP, so primitive, but we don’t mind since we’re self-contained. The Hoh Rainforest makes it even better.

For Hoh Campground - Olympic National Park: Stayed 1 night in November 2017. Loved this NP. We were the only RV in the campground and the peace and quiet were amazing. Newer restrooms and a riverfront site made for a wonderful stay. An elk herd surrounded our RV in the morning to see us off. A true gem of the NPS.
