For Sunrise Bay Campgrounds and RV Park: We stayed here for fishing opener. Campground is nice and we had a pretty view from site. We found out there are new owners who were very friendly and they were busy with lots of updates. The bathrooms were freshly painted and the showers newly tiled, both the men's and women's were very clean. They had a game room which was nice as Saturday was cold. They were also working on updating the electrical and they are getting some new equipment for the playground. We would defiantly camp here again.

For Sunrise Bay Campgrounds and RV Park: Stayed at Sunrise Bay in order to attend the lumberjack championships in Hayward. Campground is about 8 miles from town. Lower RV area is just a small grass loop right on the water. Electrical boxes have not been updated and the plug is actually a commercial 20 amp plug with 30 amp service (according to the owner.) You will need an adaptor to plug in and your plug will actually be upside down, causing a significant bend in your power cord.
Water pressure was good. Bathrooms are pretty bad and you have to pay for the showers. The place was pretty full but remained relatively quiet.
We paid $28 a night for water and electric and would not come back here for this price.
