For Fireside Campground: Fireside campground is under new ownership since April 2022. Owners are very super friendly and go the extra mile to make our stay special. They have done a lot of work here, and continue to make improvements. Price is very good considering everything going on now. Would highly recommend this campground to anyone.

For Fireside Campground: Website home page pictures led me to believe there was a pool there with lots of kids-not true. Owners nice enough but short on time to give directions. Check out was noon, they said no one was coming in and did not offer to let us stay a bit longer to eat lunch first. Quiet, lightly wooded, wouldn't bring grandkids back-they love to swim. Didn't want to have to leave camp to do that.

For Fireside Campground: There is a dirt road going in. We drove right by the site because we came to a sign saying it was .2 miles, but the owner explained that was .2 miles to the highway. Our site had nice shade and was fairly level, but we had no phone reception. None of the sites have a sewer connection, but we were given one of the few sites with a black box (portable holding tank) to dump on site without the need to dump on our way out. The owner was friendly and helpful.
