For Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground: The campground is beautiful. A doe and two fawns crossed just in front of our site just after we parked. There is a little lake with fishing. The site is level. You don’t find that very often. The staff is outstanding. Really nice and helpful. We will plan to come here again if we are camping in this area.

For Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground: Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground is a very nice and quiet campground. The owners Mike and Mary are very nice. I did read prior reviews and was concerned but found out that they were way off base. Rules are set forth and thankfully are enforced. That is why this is a great campground. Unruly campers are not tolerated. That is admirable not a bad thing.

For Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground: Checked in and before I could leave I was REQUIRED to read a long list of rules and sign at the bottom. Park is dated and the sites are not level and mostly grass. It’s run like a military camp. My wife’s friend was dropping her off at the RV and just wanted to look at the RV. She was here less then 20 minutes. The owner came and knocked on the door and was terribly rude and told her she had to leave. Then he made some smart remark to me about planning “cat and mouse” with him. Kept quoting his list of rules. Will never stay here again with a drill Sargent running the place. The only reason I gave it 1 star was because there wasn’t a half star available.

For Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground: Rules are one thing, and we’re all for them. But common sense and treating your customer well, should be a priority. I had a good friend drive me back to our RV and simply stay to chat for about 10 minutes and the owner came out and was terribly rude saying she must leave. She was about to, but it shouldn’t be such a bad thing for minutes. He was terribly rude and condescending and embarrassed our friend. Just uncalled for. The place was nearly empty too. She was not blocking, nor hindering anyone. The other reviewers were right. Stay away. The owner is a jerk.

For Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground: Had a great time. Finally a Campground that stresses the rules for everyone. Nice and quiet.

For Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground: Camped last weekend in July with another family. We got 2 sites with full hookups next to each other, we have a 34' trailer and they were in a tent. Our sites were right on the water which was awesome. And they gave our friends a break in price because they had just a tent. The owners were great! The place is a little dated but quite. We had no problems with the strict rules. The "no inflatables rule was not in forced that weekend. It really was a great time. My wife and I are going back in a few weeks just the 2 of us.

For Lake Lenwood Beach and Campground: So many unnecessary rules at this place. It could be a nice campground if it was run by owners who were not over the top. Visitors treated as if they were practically visiting at a high security establishment. Not friendly.
