For Riffle Run: This is a Corp of Engineers CG. About 50 sites. All are gravel and level. Full hook up. Plenty of room between each site. Very cleanand well maintained. No teservationxs. Self check in. Cost is $34.00 per nite but $17.00 if you have “America the Beautiful “ pass. Internet/phone access is minimal. You have to remember you are in very rural West Virginia.

For Riffle Run: Campground was okay. All sites are full hookup only and $30 night. If you need Verizon cell service this is not the place for you. Barely 1 bar of service. If you walk down by the boat launch you can sometimes pick up 2 bars with 1g coverage in and out. Restrooms and showers were clean. I would probably not return again as this was my most expensive stay in 14 days on the road. There was also a lot of traffic in and out at night. If you are looking to unplug this is the place to do it.
