For Colter Bay RV Park: We had a wonderful experience at this campground. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The campground was clean. It has full amenities including being walking distance to the village. In addition to the campground being located in the Grand Tetons National Park, it is close to Yellowstone National Park. We would definitely return to this campground.

For Colter Bay RV Park: First the area is great. You have the lake, they have a laundry facility, showers (5$/person), a little gift shop/groceries and a restaurant which serves pizza and others things. Beautiful sunset by the lake. We stayed a week at the first come first serve campground (primitive). It is a bit pricey ($26 a night) but the prices in the area are all expensive so I guess it is not too bad. All sites have a lot of shade which is great in the summer and the night are cool. We saw a deer coming by our site each night, which was great. There is no cellphone coverage. You can call if you have AT&T or Verizon but that is it. They have WiFi at the laundry, restaurant and grocery but it is not so close to the campground. The limit to stay is 15 days. Sites a more or less leveled. Bathrooms are outdated but cleaned twice a day. The staff is really great and accommodating. I would stay again, I did not give 5 stars because the cellphone coverage for us working on the road was sort of a dealbreaker.

For Colter Bay RV Park: We were lucky enough to get a two night cancellation here and it was great. Yes, it's expensive for what you get, but you're in the Grand Tetons people so it's worth it. We had full hook ups and the wifi was non existent (hot spot in laundry), phone signal very weak, if any at all. There are flush toilets in the main part of the campground but for showers you will have to use the showers in the laundry in the village (walk out the campground and you're there). Showers cost us $4.50 each and are only available 8am - 8pm, the temp is great, the pressure is great but you can't move the shower head and it's quite high up, two shower curtains are you door. Laundry is pretty expensive - $3 wash can't remember how much for dryer. Don't do what we did and forget your powder because it's too far to hoof back through to get it in the dark/rain. There is a change machine. The sites are sort of level and there are loads of trees - when we stayed, you could hear a pin drop even though the place was full. The gift shop in the village is lovely and the staff are helpful, there is a coffee shop selling Starbucks to go and a small grocery store. Make sure you stop by the marina - the manager gave us an impromptu talk on the mountains/history which was fabulous. Would definitely stay here again.

Joe

For Colter Bay RV Park: Stayed here the first 10 days in July. My bride and I got married at Schwabachers Landing and honeymooned/ Family Reunion at Jackson Lake (Colter Bay Village RV Park). The sites were large, pull throughs, full hook-ups, with enough space between sites to be very enjoyable. Jackson Lake was a 5 minute walk. It is also the same walk to the Colter Bay Marina. Boats, canoes, and Kayaks were available for rent. This place is magical. When we walked to the store or laundry mat, we were greeted with a spectacular view of the Grand Tetons. Best of all, EVERYONE IN THE CAMPGROUND kept the noise levels well below normal. It truly felt like we were alone. As far as the staff goes, they all get 7 Stars!!! If we had a comment, question, or concern, they were on it immediately. And oh so helpful. They gave us insights as to where to eat, things to see, do, etc. And, YES, they did advise us to keep our food put away. There was a Grizzley Bear and cub that came through the camp late at night most nights after the campers went to bed. We never saw or heard one in camp during our entire stay. We and all the additional family from the reunion all said that this is definitely the first choice when we return again. Some family members have already booked their 2019 vacation at this campground. We will also be booking 2019 there.

For Colter Bay RV Park: Nicest campground we stayed at in 23 days. Quiet, nice sized sites, bid rigs ok, friendly staff, lots to do, so much within walking distance. Lake to swim in, rocky beach( you are in the mountains). Also you are in bear country so don’t leave anything food related outside when not in use. No campfires but again you are in a dry mountainous area prone to forest fires. Hikes near the campground around Swan Lake where we were able to see black bear and cubs at a SAFE distance. We had full hookups. Nice bathrooms, laundry and shower house. Easy drive to the lower portion of Yellowstone if you want to drive up and back. A little pricey, but they do except senior NP passes. A lot of bang for your buck. Nice restaurant within walking distance. Also recommend the breakfast boat ride to Elk Island.

For Colter Bay RV Park: We stayed at the RVPark. Very close to the marina for fishing, boat tours and rentals. We were there three days and ended up adding another day. Facilities were clean and had pay showers and laundry. Staff was fairly friendly but don’t leave your outdoor stove or bbq out during the day unattended it will be taken by the staff you will get it back but it is a little embarrassing pulling your stuff out of the check in building. Will however be back again

Brian

For Colter Bay RV Park: Stayed in the dry sites. They sure do pack you in for $31. Neighbors on all sides about 20-30ft away Toilets were clean showers cost $4.25/per person which is rather silly. It's about 40min to get to the hikes down near Jenny lake. Also, no AT&T signal. Would not stay here again.
