For Lester Jackson Park: We have a 20 ft. camper van and this place was a godsend to stop overnight with no traffic noise. We were by ourselves as it is the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Thank you Pie Town.

For Lester Jackson Park: Considering pie town consists of 2 restaurants, a couple hundred residents and the park/campground is maintained by volunteers this campground was awesome! I would not recommend for RV’s or travel trailers but tent camping, pop ups, teardrops and Overland trailers are perfect. The campground had not been mowed but the playground was. The one composting toilet was clean and stocked and the one Water spigot was on and the water was great. Plus it is free camping.

For Lester Jackson Park: This area is a mess! Deeply rutted roads in a maze-like configuration and trees encroaching into the access roads made this a no-go for us. We drive a 38-foot class A, but I would think it would be perilous for smaller rigs, too. There seems to be no organization to the camping areas and the presence of loose sand and gullies made it treacherous to navigate.

For Lester Jackson Park: This was a wooded park with sand roads and trees that touched the motor home as we went by. We came at dusk so the road was confusing. A small rig would work fine. Ours is 30 feet and did okay.

For Lester Jackson Park: Pretty simple place here and you are on your own but withing walking distance of great pie and food across the road.
