Formidably called Rockin E Campground, the new owners have changed the name to Made In The Shade RV Park A peaceful easy feeling comes over you staying at this campground. Nice spacing with trees in between each site which are all pull throughs and can accommodate all size rigs! All sites are fairly level gravel pad with good accessible to full hookups of 20,30,50 amp, decent water pressure and sewer lines along with picnic table and fire pit. Tent sites are also available. Little details make the campground special. Our site had a small pumpkin surrounded by pine cones on our picnic table. Hiking the multiple clearly marked trails gives the feeling of getting away from all and then delight as a lady bug bird house is found on a tree or you stumble upon the knight in armor! Fire wood is sold when there isn’t a fire ban in place along with other items in the small general store. Very clean showers with good pressure and hot water. The laundry has 2 top loader washing machine($1.50/load), 2 dryers($2/load) and 2 tables for folding. The new owners, Michelle and Tommy, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Also offered us the use of the gas grills, corn hole game and excitedly showed us the new community kitchen being built on the community pavilion. They honored our PassPort America. Campground is conveniently located near Lake Livingston and approximately 15 minutes to Livingston itself for major shopping

Numerous pull through camp sites accommodating +60’ Rigs. Well maintained. Quiet. Wonderful shaded walking trails through pine forest. At least 5 miles worth. On site store. We will definitely be back for weekend getaways. Close to Coldspring with full service grocery and 2-3 decent restaurants.
