Ed

For Poverty Point Reservoir State Park: Reserved a Monday night on March 19 2018. Nice level site with power. Campground was very nice and had a nice shower house. Level paved site. We had reserved but there were a few open sites still available when we got there. Very nice campground, with trails over to the lake. Place was very confusing to drive into, and we gladly followed a ranger who offered to show us where our site was.

For Poverty Point Reservoir State Park: Great sites. Shower house is 98% Accessible, just needs 2 more bars, and then it would be 100%. But is very handicapped friendly, sites are paved and level. Beautiful scenery.

HowMar

For Poverty Point Reservoir State Park: This park has it all. Pretty surroundings, level concrete pads, tables, BBQs, fire rings. Then there are clean bathrooms with showers, and laundry facilities. It has a lake with a swimming area. There is a spray park in the campground. It has wildlife - we saw a rabbit and a cardinal in the first 10 minutes. Apparently they have bears & alligators 'cause they ask you not to feed them. All this for $22.
