For El Dorado County Fairgrounds: This is a great place for an overnight or for a few days. The sites are scattered throughout the grounds. We stayed on a grass site all by ourselves in the trees. 50amps and water. We will definitely be back.

For El Dorado County Fairgrounds: This place does not match the description. There is NO campground! They stuck us in a maintenance area with a makeshift electric box and a water hose bib. The $40 they charge is a rip-off in my opinion. We were out of options so we stayed overnight.

For El Dorado County Fairgrounds: Cheapest place in town ($35). Check in at fairgrounds office, better to call ahead (note:11ft clearance to office, but parking available at Blue Gate on N side of fairgrounds). The manager drove us to the site (a parking lot on top of a hill). 50 amp & water- need to pay $8 for dump (unless staying>3days). We had to stay two days cause of a storm, it was alright. The manager's house very close to RV grounds. If you are looking for scenery and amenities- this place isn't for you.
