For Santa Cruz Lake Rec Area - Overlook Campground: The last review from Sarah is still accurate, except I would add that the dirt road to the site is washboard and has some erosion channels across. We took it slow in our Class C and fortunately it is only one mile of dirt road. The iron ranger for dropping in payment was missing or had been stolen.

For Santa Cruz Lake Rec Area - Overlook Campground: Cheap site at $7 a night. Pretty basic. One pit toilet, trash can, fire pits/grills and picnic tables. The sites right on the edge of the overlook have an amazing view of the lake but fairly steep drop off without any barrier (we don't have kids but would be worried about little ones). A little shabby with graffiti and trash on the ground, otherwise pretty much what you would expect.
