For Vines RV Resort: NOISE NOISE NOISE. We were 50 feet from the 101! If you love being freeway close this “resort” will suit you perfectly!!! The pool was dirty. The upscale Vines Resort pool lounge chairs were filthy. The spa bubbles weren’t working. The laundry had no change machine. We got ants in our trailer from a two night stay. I’m assuming they were desperate to leave this storied place. The staff were friendly-we should go back and save them.

For Vines RV Resort: We stayed here in mid-Oct 2018 because it was listed as a Passport America property for 1/2 price. The location is good but it is right on Highway 101 which in turn affected our stay due to the traffic noise all night. Stay away from the Standard sites as these are the ones that back up to the inadequate sound barrier for the highway. We did not use the pool but saw others using it - there is one for kids and one for adults along with a hot tub. We did use their laundry room which was clean and reasonably priced, and the showers and restrooms which were also clean but very slippery due to the tile, be careful or take a towel to put down on the floor. There is also no place to hold soap or shampoo except the floor. There are two dog parks one for little dogs which is very little and a larger one with grass near the horseshoe pit at the north end of the park. I cleaned up poop in both just so I could walk around with my dog - one of my biggest pet peeves is people not cleaning up after their pet and these dog parks have been the worst that I have seen. The staff was pleasant and we stayed for two nights during the week.

For Vines RV Resort: Really great resort! Clean and friendly... Concrete pads to park on. Activities and a lounge. Though close to highway the noise was not bothersome.

For Vines RV Resort: We stay here July 2018, we’re full-time RVer’s and never have stay in a place like this. it’s amazingly clean we didn’t use the pool and the clubhouse areas but the bathroom it is like Vegas hotel bathroom, it’s amazing. we would definitely stay here again although we paid $55 a night and had PA but because there is the Mid-state fair going on, so the PA deiscount did not apply. that was OK because at this place again it was amazing.

Linda

For Vines RV Resort: We stayed at the Wine Country Rv resort in April 2018. The resort is beautiful, clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The resort is located in a great area to visit many wineries and go to the coast as a day trip. We would stay again if we are in the area.

For Vines RV Resort: We spent three nights here on a wine tasting trip. Because we don't have a toad yet, we had the Enterprise Rental Car guys pick us up and take us to the office to pick up our car. That was handy. We may not need to worry about a toad, unless we are going to some place in the middle of the desert and, then, why do we need a car anyway?

Back to the point of this review. This is one of three RV parks in Paso Robles owned and operated by the same owners. Based on our experience here, they do a great job. Our welcome on arrival was very welcoming and friendly. The sites are spacious, with table and full hookups. We had plenty of room for slides, but did not try our awning. We were gone all day wine tasting, so we didn't need it anyway.

The facilities are great. The showers and bathrooms are clean, large and very well furnished. There is a store with basic needs that scratches most itches.

The park is convenient to Paso Robles and the many wineries in the area. I read in a couple of reviews that the highway noise can be pretty loud. We are a little removed from the highway and I heard some highway noise last night, but it wasn't enough to keep my awake. It was almost like having a white noise background. I slept through it quite nicely.

I think we found our Paso Robles home for future wine tasting trips. Oh, and they have really cute cabins that can be rented for friends and family who may want to go wine tasting with us and stay in their own place.

We were in space 89 in a 35 foot Class A motorhome, with plenty of room for our rental car.

For Vines RV Resort:
- Accessibility: Easy access just east of Interstate 101 offramp ( did no notice any highway noise)
- General Appearance: Beautiful with resort feel
- Staff: Friendly and fast check-in
- Sites: Fairly wide, level concrete pads but with enough slope a few blocks under the jacks were required. Extra large picnic table provided.
- Trees / Shade: Yes there are trees, but they provide little shade as they are fairly young and maybe only 20-30 feet tall
- Ambiance: The resort feel was only blemished by a near by wildfire that cast a parlor of smelly gray smoke everywhere
- Wifi: Yes and seemed very robust the couple of times we used it
- Hookups: 30 and 50 amp with water and sewer
- Cable TV: Yes
- OTA TV: Don't know as we didn't try it
- Cell Phone: ATT - 3 bars & 4G
- Recreation Facilities: 2 very nice pools (1 was unheated), spa, billiards table, horseshoes, library, barbecue / fire pit area and fitness center
- Pet Friendly: Yes, with 2 dog runs (1 is very small)
- Laundry: Yes and clean.
- Restrooms / Showers : Yes, but didn't check them out
- Propane: Don't think so
- Cost (ave 1 night w/fees): $72
- Stay here again: yes, if in the area
- Other: If you have a golf cart, it must be left in a separate storage area as they are not allowed in the campground
