For Royal Gorge Resort: Great little campground right on the Salmon River. Neat and clean. Owners were wonderful! View of mountains, the sound of the river.... great! Will definitely be back. We were here in July, 2018, 40 ft. MH wit toad.

For Royal Gorge Resort: Aug.2018: We snagged a site here during the eclipse event. And it was quite a find! This is a nice little private park, it is not fancy and the prices are very reasonable. Our site backed right up to the river, and the bighorn sheep came down on the other side of the river every morning for a drink. Bald eagles flew around over the river, fishing was good, and there was a small hot spring in a funky spot on the property. Small and next to the road but still private. Best part was the people, the owners were great, and we met some very friendly campers. If you have a kayak, or river boat the owner will shuttle you to a drop off and bring your car back to your campsite, and they have a nice pull out at the campground. This is a place i will fondly remember and if ever in the area, come back to. Not fancy but relaxed and a place to hunker down and enjoy nature. Laundry should be done in Salmon, shopping in Challis and Salmon for groceries is good.
