For Apple Orchard RV Park: This campground is rural, but extremely noisy at night. Kids race their loud import cars around the surrounding roads at all hours of the night and we were woken up every single night we were there. There is also a marijuana/Hemp farm directly across the road and the smell was OVERWHELMING! It was comedic to begin with, but it turned our stomachs after smelling it 24/7. Our RV and vehicle smelled like it for weeks afterwards. We were actually worried about crossing the Osoyoos/USA border as we felt we would raise red flags due to the smell in our vehicle and possessions. That smell was nothing compared to the smell of sewage from the site near us. This rural campground seems to be on a septic system that isn’t doing it’s job properly. The distillery appears to be under constant construction and the RV park through roads were blocked by construction materials and shipping containers that seemed to have been there for months (if not years). We figured that we would visit and support the on-site distillery and their music nights while staying there, but left disappointed on two separate night as we were ignored by staff completely. The loud and distorted music in the evenings made sitting outside our RV quite unpleasant. An RV park in a rural winery-like setting seemed like an amazing experience, but we left very disappointed.
