For Route 66 RV Park: It appears that the owners have done a lot of upgrades. We had a new site with 50Amp (only expected 30). Large pull through. Clean. Took off 1 star solely because the site was sloped quite a bit and with airbag leveling, took a bit of doing to level. Hosts were helpful and open to suggestion. A great overnight stop with great views. We’re not aware of highway traffic noise.

For Route 66 RV Park: If I could give this site 0 stars I would. Two words: Raw Sewage. Facilities are almost non-existent but being forced to park over raw sewage and unable to dump were inexcusable. Owners knew of problem yet continued to put rvs in spot. They refused to give me a refund when requested. Again RAW SEWAGE in campsite. Informing County Health Department.

For Route 66 RV Park: If you need a place to do an overnight, this one is fine. It is more like an RV parking lot (they pack you in here). Our space wasn't real level. Gravel rock lots.
Pretty quiet place with the exception to hearing the major hwy close by. (It didn't bother us.) Tracey was nice when checking us in & showing our lot.
Ironically, the camp owners dogs were not on leashes or kept restrained, but they require guests to have their dogs on leashes (we always have our dogs on leashes in that type of environment.) The laundry, bathroom & shower area was clean. Showers are not free, $4 for 12 minutes. Laundry is $3 per load- washing or drying. It was ok, nothing special.

For Route 66 RV Park: Not really a tenting site. What the price was good at $10. But situated on a gravel hillside, alongside A major highway there is always traffic. All might long.
It's probably good for RVs, but I was in a tent.
I would not recommend to a fellow tenter. .

For Route 66 RV Park: These folks are great! New management they said been here a couple of months. They're doing a great job, place is clean. Bathroom is clean, washers & dryers brand new. Site was large enough for our Fifth wheel and then some! Dirt & rock roads, but hard, no problems there. Sites are a little slight on one side due to the campground is on a large hill. TV reception good. Dog walks, need leash, but we do that anyway. Overall a great place to stop & decent price. $35 for 50amp site, that's with their discount & taxes included. We'd definitely stop again. Managers seem like very nice people. We enjoyed our stay here.

Wanderlust
For Route 66 RV Park: In my 12 years of RVing this is by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with someone at the RV park. I called ahead to make reservations because I knew we had a long day and late night of traveling ahead due to a deadline we had to meet. I spoke to the manager on the phone and told her we had at least 6 hours of travel time according to Google. It was 5 pm. Usually RV parks leave information on the door for late check in but she said she would have to take us to our site and to call. We arrived after midnight and she rudely. proceeded to lecture me about how rude it was to arrive so late and that I should have called. As any RVer knows, signal is often lacking. The RV park is not that big and having done this once or twice we would have found our spot. We left because it is unacceptable for someone to be so rude to anyone. My recommendation is to drive a little farther and find a nicer RV park with friendly people.

KnJ
For Route 66 RV Park: $35 for FHU. Right off the highway, go left under the highway, left at the first stoplight and then it's on your left about a mile up. You stop at the front and friendly staff guide you to your site (office is in trailer to your left). Gravel/dirt road and sites- might be a problem in rainy season but we were there in dry weather. Sites are pretty level. Laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers and two separate bathroom/showers in a central location. The laundry/bathroom facility is newly built, well lit and clean. We only stayed one weeknight and it was quiet. There are small trees there, but there's no real shade and no stopping the wind when it gets going. You're above the freeway and a valley so the view was nice.
