For Lake Ponca Park: This is a small campground but the city has been cleaning it up. Now all sites can see the water even across the grounds. There are a few sites that boarder the edge next to water so you can walk down and get your fishing line wet-must have fishing permit. Electric, water, picnic tables and older restrooms/shower build nice and clean. Sewer dump station available as well. A hiking trail across the road and take a stroll across the Damn Road to the other side of lake for disc golf, play ground, swim beach and picnic shelters. Several Boat ramps permit required for boating. Heated fishing dock. Visit the duck ponds and below the damn where you will find more picnic shelters, restrooms, playground and stream for fishing. Golf course and bike trails approx 4 miles around the corner but still on the lake. I give it a 4 star only because the Campgrounds don’t have individual parking slabs, it is black topped so you find the electrical and back right up to it.
Happy Camping
