For Elkamp Eastcreek: It’s OK, nothing special. Sites aren’t that level, or ours wasn’t anyway. $55 a night for 30amp, water, and gravel is pretty steep, but supply and demand rules. View of your neighbors on three sides and bath house on side 4.
I’m just not gaga on the place, like some others are.

For Elkamp Eastcreek: Campground was sold to new owners in March 2020. They maintain the name Eastcreek but preface it with ElKamp Eastcreek - Elevated Camping. The place is meticulously clean, maintained, and managed. The sites are spacious, LEVEL, the owners (Brian and Tom) could not be nicer or more accommodating. I’ve never experience a camp owner/mgr coming around just to check up on us, deliver firewood, etc. There is a lovely creek with a footbridge over it going out to a meadow (great place to walk the dogs!). Being 15 minutes from the main entrance to Mt Rainier NP is a real plus.
I would give it 5+ plus but the cell reception is pitiful. No doubt the new owners will remedy that before next season.

For Elkamp Eastcreek: If I could I would give Eastcreek 10 stars!!! I rarely write reviews but our experience was so fantastic, I had to write a review!! We stayed the first weekend in October 2020 in our 30’ travel trailer with one slide-out in campsite#9(had electric and water hookup). The cancellation policy was clearly explained to us at the time of booking but we booked in person. Sites have good privacy and the bathrooms and showers are very clean; and the campground is impeccably maintained. This is a great place to stay if you want to visit and explore Mt Rainier as its 13-14 miles from Nisqually entrance. I cant say enough... the owners stopped by every night to be sure we had enough firewood every evening and for $7.00 you get a generous bundle of dry firewood. On Sunday morning I was emptying my black water tank into my portable black/gray water tank to walk to the dump station on site(which was also clean and well maintained) and one of the owners offered to help me! My own family doesn't even offer to help me!! The service was second to none and the owners were friendly and affable. We will be back for sure!!!

For Elkamp Eastcreek: WARNING! The entire first night's payment IS YOUR DEPOSIT!!! We had to cancel our reservation and emailed over a month in advance to do so. The website does state that there is a nonrefundable deposit, however, it does not make clear what the deposit is. The website states "A deposit will be taken at the time of reservation; two weeks notice of cancellation is required for a partial refund. Please Note: Reservation deposits are non-refundable." After reading this, and because I was canceling over a month in advance, I expected a partial refund of the $53 they withdrew from my account. I never received an email confirming my reservation cancellation and I hadn't received a refund, so I called about a week later. The lady (who was very nice) with whom I spoke informed me that the deposit was the entire first night's cost. I think that is completely ridiculous, especially considering I gave over a month's notice and they should have plenty of time to fill that spot with other campers. We are out over $50 simply because we had to cancel our reservation. This feels extremely punitive and out of the ordinary for cancellation policies. Eastcreek might be a nice place, but they need to SERIOUSLY reconsider this policy.

For Elkamp Eastcreek: Nice quite wooded spot. Remote as I could not get any service of any kind.
