Sal

For Grand Ole RV Resort: We stayed here on a trip from the Smokey Mountains back to Minnesota. The sites are tight with very little grass in between them. Some of them have no grass and all rock. Their are no fire pits and it is close to a train track and you can hear them clearly as they go buy. I will not be staying at this RV park again. I am sure there are others in the area that are much better.

Great Adventurers

For Grand Ole RV Resort: Everything said before is so true although train is a minor annoyance. What hasn’t been mentioned is the terrific entertainment every night for free!! If we swing by here again this will be our stopping place!

For Grand Ole RV Resort: Very nice and well maintained park. We had site 37b which was a pull in. Level gravel site with good electricity and ample water pressure. The staff, as noted before is excellent...very helpful, friendly, and competent. And they cook a mean breakfast...we didn’t try dinner but it’s got to be good too. Yes, there is a train track at the back of the park...but we never heard it once inside the coach. I don’t think I’d want to be on the back row in a pop up but we had no problems. The park is close enough to Nashville for an easy commute...navigating Nashville traffic and parking is another matter. Good value at $34.50 nightly. We stayed in a 40ft class A with tow.

Dave

For Grand Ole RV Resort: This is the friendliest RV park you could hope to stay at, it is very clean, well maintained and organized. There is a store/cafe that is well stocked and serves breakfast and dinner at very reasonable prices.

Travelers

For Grand Ole RV Resort: This place has some pros, but many cons. Cons: 1. Overpriced- they charge the same as other parks which offer many amenities 2. This park has a tendency to flood 3. This park has minimal offerings for kids. There’s a small swing set and a cheap baby square climbing gym. The green spaces are used by dog owners 4. This place is not quite. This is the biggest con so make sure you really understand how noisy it really is. There is a train that runs literally on the perimeter. It goes by about every hour- sometimes more sometimes less often. You can not sleep with the windows open- it’s loud. When the train isn’t going by there’s a near by ambulance and fire station to keep the noise up. 5. The sites are smaller and the workers do daily camper checks. This may be a pro but we felt like it impeded our privacy. We have a new camper so nothing to hide- but I dont need someone coming by everyday to find something to complain about. Now the positive- the staff is mostly friendly. Some were passive aggressive though (or they came off that way) The location is great. Your close to Hendersonville which has everything you need- Nashville traffic is horrible. If the cons don’t bother you then this would be a perfect campground. The location really makes it.

John

For Grand Ole RV Resort: Stayed here overnight on a trip south. Friendly staff, level pull-through site. About a mile off I-65. There is a train that goes close by fairly regularly, even at night. If you think this would bother you then I would take a star away from the rating.

OTR

For Grand Ole RV Resort: Very friendly staff and clean, well maintained facilities. HOWEVER, if you're traveling with pets or kids that are nervous about noise, you might want to opt out. Very close to a very active rail line with frequent, long freight trains rumbling by on one side and a well traveled highway on the other.
