For Somerset Airfield Forest Road 71 Camping: We've been coming here since we were kids. It's a reason we passed on to our families. It's the perfect place to get away to if you want peace and an amazing view of the stars. It sits along a stream and is nestled deep into the mountains. It's best to go in the fall. Anytime in September or October. The shutters and black flies are normally gone by then. There is old apple tree's and an old cemetery easy walking distance from the camp sites. Also a really cool old school house up the road heading to the reservoir. It's a beautiful drive and perfect spot if you want to get away.

For Somerset Airfield Forest Road 71 Camping: This was a mistake to stay here for us. We have a 22 ft motorhome and the road was 6 1/2 mile of dirt road and washboards. We couldn’t go over 15 mph. When we got to camping area it was not scenic. It was just a hard packed ground area to park on. It rained hard overnight, and we worried we would mud slide off the dirt road into the river bed. There were no shoulders and it was a steep drop.
