For BLM Spring Recreation Site: We needed a one night spot in our 25 foot travel trailer with 2 small kids. This was our first BLM experience, and it went smoothly. 3 gravel parking lots with little shade, some picnic tables and fire rings available. The road getting there was not bad at all. Water available in each lot. 5 or 6 other RVs there and a few tent campers. Huntington has nothing, but we just played on the rocky beach at the campground and enjoyed the views and deer. Probably often windy since right on the river. Overall a good experience.

For BLM Spring Recreation Site: Wow, what a nice spot for a relaxing night or three. Took some courage to drive our 43-foot motorhome with towed the three miles in on narrow, paved road. My darling said it was possibly the worst road I’d navigated him down, so far. LOL It was worth it! There is plenty of room to turn around and change one’s mind once you get into the campground and boat ramp area. Fishermen gotta love the cleaning station, complete with grinder set up for the heads and guts and such. Bleh. Very quiet and peaceful. We had the site at the back of the campground, top of hill, all to ourselves. We pulled in so car was almost straight before unhooking, then we maneuvered around so we were facing outward for an easy exit. Water fill available at site, or at fish station. No RV dump, no electric, no antenna TV. Verizon worked great.

For BLM Spring Recreation Site: Arrived Saturday evening, lots of empty spots to park. Basically level gravel parking lots with room for RV’s and cars for tent campers. No specifically numbered spots. No shade for RV’s, nice shade for tents. Water available but no dump site nor electrical. Picnic tables available. $5.00 per night. The road from town was at times one lane, with a drop off to one side. Other oncoming drivers were courteous to pull to wide spots allowing safe travel. Very quiet, deer were visiting the campsite. Restful lovely place to stop for the night.

For BLM Spring Recreation Site: We loved the campground at Spring Recrecation site. We stayed there during the Solar Eclipse August 21, 2017. The camp host, Carl, did an amazing job. He made the whole event so fun. Carl went above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again.

For BLM Spring Recreation Site: of all the times i have used boat docks at Spring Recreation park in the past I have had no problems or complaints , but on or about June 5 of 2016 the camp host came up screaming about not paying ( I had and proved it to him ) not a big deal but the very next night had motor problems and did not get back till after dark looking for light on dock and when we found dock the light that was supposed to be on was dead ! So I THINK THAT THE CAMP HOST NEED TO GET OFF HIS LAZY [bad] AND DO HIS JOB !! MG
