HJD

For Andersonville City Campground: This an unusual campground but it hit all the buttons for a high rating. Low cost, full hook up, nobody around, good cell service, and friendly people. This place is so out of the way, you need to be going to the Andersonville Prison Historic Site park. Spaces are rather close, but there are only 2 of us here so it didn’t matter.

Wyma

For Andersonville City Campground: Handy little park to tour Andersonville. Really nice management of park and museum but it’s the South where people are friendly. The park is plain, no frills, but is clean, quite and has full hookups. We have 32 ft motorhome had plenty of room. Cell phone service good

Judy

For Andersonville City Campground: Nice little campground. Definitely no frills. Pulled in and was immediately contacted by a nice lady in a golf cart. Cost us $22.50 with a senior discount.

Pat

For Andersonville City Campground: Quiet little campground. Paid $17.50 for full hookup. Very friendly folks. Let me stay over when I got sick, and said “just pay up when you leave”. I would stay here again.

DaVida

For Andersonville City Campground: Small campground, sites narrow, close, gravel, no privacy, some shade. Bathhouse was one room with toilet, sink, shower. Camp host was helpful, friendly, feeds many cats, who wait patiently around the park. Check in at museum down the road.

MabaVt

For Andersonville City Campground: Enjoyed our stay here late February 2019. 17.50 for full hookup. Quiet, clean bathhouse. Registration was at the Drummer Boy Museum and. Visitor center. So convenient for visiting the Andersonville Historic Site, and the town itself has an interesting history. Breakfast at Mama’s Kitchen was very good and inexpensive.

sachmo

For Andersonville City Campground: Small, quiet and well maintained RV park located in Andersonville Village. Full 50 amp hook ups. Pull thru sites are on concrete pads. Andersonville Village and the prison site and pow museum across the highway are worth a full day. We stayed for 2 nights and were happy we did. People are friendly and like to talk about history. The small Drummer Boy Museum in the village visitor center is very worthwhile and has some interesting civil war artifacts, including the bonnet Mary Surratt wore before she was hanged.
