For KOA Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark: Although we only stayed for one night we found this a well maintained and well run campground. It would make a great destination campground if you have children. So much for them to do! Bathrooms clean, staff helpful and friendly. Our site wasn’t perfectly level but I’ve rarely found any that are. Not an issue for me. There is a nicely stocked camp store and gas pumps on site. There are some very nice premium sites with patios. maPrice was very reasonable for what is offered. I’d stay again if driving through the area.

For KOA Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark: While walking the dogs in the morning around their lake ... had to leave because some %@@&%$# decided this was a great place to shoot geese. Sent dog to retrieve, the hunter only wounded the goose the dog finished it off...we are not in the country .. town is just across the freeway...

For KOA Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark: This was our first time at a KOA and we will probably not stay at another one. The staff were lovely, helpful and the check-in process was easy. The office is part of the gas station on site and has the usual gas station items as well as place to get hot food (pizza/burger etc). The park itself is clean, there weren't any shade trees in the area we parked. The site wasn't exactly level but wasn't a big deal for us and the spaces between sites was good. There is a 'beach' on the 'pond' which we didn't use as we were just travelling through. The thing that we really didn't like was the showers. There were 3 showers in our closest facility - one had a used bandaid in the soap holder, another had a rusty steel wool pad on the floor and the third had a wad of hair blocking the drain. We realise the staff only clean once a day but that was off putting. The shower nozzle cannot be adjusted and there is nowhere to hide when you press the button for the water, cold water until it heats up to lukewarm at best. To add insult to injury, each press of the button gets you 30 seconds of water then you have to press again. Needless to say, we used our onboard shower in the morning.

For KOA Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark: 4 Stars for Allstays Review: Stayed 1 night during travel. Overall nice property. Office very well stocked. They even have gas/diesel pumps onsite. Nice lake on property (great for family/kids). The staff was helpful. Didn’t see/use bathhouse. Site was level but a bit tight to neighbor site. Hookups fine. Property very close to mall / shopping / restaurants. Next to a water park that did not appear to be open. Would stay here again.

For KOA Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark: Great staff and a easy checkin. The park is a subsidiary of the water park and is probably maxed out during the summer. lots of things to do during the season and when we visited in October, half the park was closed down. The sites were gravel and ours was not level. The stabilizers picked our rear wheels completely off the ground due to the site facing up hill. Stayed in a Class A motor home. Would probably stay here again.

For KOA Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark: Really clean campground right off the interstate. Has some road noise if that bugs you. No wants for any amenities! Super clean shower/bathroom. Full gas station on the property. Swimming beach, camping cottages that are so super cute. Across the street is a water park facility and even a casino. We were just passing through, but would come back for a longer stay

For KOA Waterloo / Lost Island Waterpark: This a huge park very conveniently located near Waterloo and Cedar Falls. Easy to get into with nice, near level sites. They even have their own gas station/convenience store! The store has a good selection of staples if you need something quick and easy. Casino is just down the road and the water park is across the street, perfect location. Wifi here was great but there were only a dozen of us in the park, this was the second week of April when we stayed here. We would stay here again. We stayed here in a 39' fifth wheel.
