For Indian Bread Rocks Rec Area: I stayed here three nights and really enjoyed the peace. Like most say turn right as u pass the cattle guard. Plenty of places along dirt road. The couple of side roads off the left are ok for vans and smaller vehicles. There is a turn around if your in something big I would not pass that. I wandered up in the rocks for hours enjoying the beauty. Nice place for a few days.

For Indian Bread Rocks Rec Area: We loved it here! Had a hard time at first finding spot big enough for our 39’ fifth wheel but discovered a nice spot with huge fire ring at the 3rd road to the left as you drive in on Happy camp valley road before you get to the main sites where the toilets are. Had enough Verizon cell to stream Netflix. Stayed 14 days. Our dog loved sniffing around. Would definitely stay again.

For Indian Bread Rocks Rec Area: Scraped dirt road for about three miles leads to the picnic area. We had to go 20 mph in our class c due to the washboards. To the right of the picnic area is a large space big enough for several large RVs. Then the road narrows and dips in ruts. There are several spots to camp on the left and right. Absolutely beautiful area to climb rocks, hike and camp. We saw cows and heard coyotes. We could see two other campers in the distance but felt peacefully isolated. One day is not enough! May be the best camp site in the last 100 nights.

For Indian Bread Rocks Rec Area: Beautiful, clean area with clean toilets! The recreation area is no camping, but the road continuing past it and to the end is all BLM camping. If you’ve a bigger RV, the first 2 spots are the only ones suitable, but smaller RVs and vans will be fine the rest of the way. We saw over a dozen parked along the road.

For Indian Bread Rocks Rec Area: Great spot for class c 25’. Pulled past the main entrance a few hundred feet and found a decently level spot. There were maybe four more people back here trailers/ 1 fifth wheel. Road is totally fine coming in but looks like it may flood when there’s heavy rain. BEAUTIFUL area: we saw javelinas, cows and bulls wandering through the area. The rock formations are amazingly beautiful. I feel like I could stay back here for weeks and love it.

MROC
For Indian Bread Rocks Rec Area: The sand road in is nicely graded. Maybe 3 level sites all next to each other at the entrance, past that it's very sketchy, maybe 2 more acceptable sites if you can make it that far. A lot of shooting and parties on the weekends. A lot of bugs and cow-pies. It's o.k. for a night.

For Indian Bread Rocks Rec Area: Nice and quiet. Not more than two or three spots available for Class A's or 5th wheel trailers. Plenty of smaller parking areas for small trailers and/or vans. I would recommend 4 wheel drive if you are pulling a trailer and are driving more than a quarter mile past the entrance.
The BLM ranger stopped by to see if we were hunters as hunting season is about to start.
Great Verizon signal.
