For Montrose Conservation Area North: I car camped at the east campsite (there appear to be two on the north end of the lake). I backed my car right up to the water, next to the fire pit. It was secluded and beautiful in the fall foliage. I saw lots of ducks, a few geese, and a few cranes while I was there. Cars would pass by during the day but weren't loud. The bathroom was clean and TP was well stocked. The morning was noisy with gunshots from nearby waterfowl hunters. I would stay here again but probably not during hunting season.
