For Saline Valley Conservation Area: This is a free campsite and does what it does well. There are no amenities other than a privy and fire pit at each site. The sites are mostly level and gravel. Solar will be no issue as there are trees to block any sunrays. The area is in the middle of a conservation area with plenty of woods to explore. This is a good spot for hunters or nature lovers, great stargazing. There is a small pound nearby to fish. It is a quiet location. If you just want to get out in the woods and camp for free, its a good spot.
