For Red Cloud - Fort Robinson State Park: Wonderful place. Level concrete parking. Easy back in. Lots of activities. Lots of history. Signage is poor. Check in at the main office.

For Red Cloud - Fort Robinson State Park: We really enjoyed this park. Red cloud campground is shaded mostly, level concrete sites, easy back-ins, and spacious. The park itself is full of history and well worth spending a day exploring it, including the historical museum. Crazy Horse was murdered here and you can learn about that as well as other very tragic events relating to the Indian Wars, and the entire history of the fort itself, which worked through WWII. Lots of hiking including the red cloud buttes. Great place to ride your bike too. If you use bathroom/shower facilities, you won’t have them at red cloud campground. When you first arrive, park in front of the lodge, this is where you register.

For Red Cloud - Fort Robinson State Park: Great park! Sites are spacious, easy to back in, the views are amazing, just as a tip the office to register is across the street look for the blue sign

For Red Cloud - Fort Robinson State Park: We liked staying in the Red Cloud loop of the campground. Only stayed one night but would stay for longer. Just a short walk away from all the Fort attractions. Easy hook-ups, not packed like sardines. On your GPS, use Fort Robinson as destination. Campground is in the park, just past the registration bldg. Well maintained.

For Red Cloud - Fort Robinson State Park: Other reviews from this year are accurate. Nice park setting, lots of activities and history here, well maintained, clean. You have to pay for showers, which at first seemed odd but it wasn’t more than a dollar for a reasonable shower and it kept the riffraff out. We would definitely stay here again

For Red Cloud - Fort Robinson State Park: Loved this park. I took away a star only because it was crowded feeling when it was full on the long weekend. And the washroom/shower building is quite a hike. We stayed with full hookups in Red Cloud Campground. Soldier Creek has electric hookups but there is a water fill and dump station on the way in. Lots to do. Wagon rides, trail rides, jeep rides, museums, history, small evening rodeo, live theatre until Aug 15. Great biking (just watch out for tire "stickers" in late August.) We stayed on the roads after having to fix our tires. Park is very well kept and lots to see and do. I couldn't help but feel so relaxed after a couple days. We extended by 2 days and still hated to leave. Lots of day trips from this area, too...Toadstool Park, Hudson Meng Bison Kill site, Fur Trade Museum, Agate Fossil Beds Monument....

For Red Cloud - Fort Robinson State Park: We stayed here in August 2014. We enjoyed full hookups in this mostly treeless campground. The hookups are unusually placed so make sure you have extra sewer hose as you might need it. The park itself is worth an extra night's stay if you are just traveling through as we were. The jeep tour was worth the cost! The stagecoach ride was fun just for the experience! We didn't use the pool, but they have a beautiful indoor one. Also you can sit on the porch of the Inn and use their wifi!
