For Arch Rock - Valley of Fire State Park: Excellent. Some great spots with good separation (although there is a fair amount of echoing). Terrific trails. Water at nearly spot. Just a great park.

For Arch Rock - Valley of Fire State Park: We came here only intending to stay a night, but simply couldn’t leave, and will definitely be back. Arch Rock is a much better choice of campgrounds if you’re looking for the most beautiful views and a bit more quiet. No electric sites or showers, but you’re welcome to go to Atlatl for a free shower.

For Arch Rock - Valley of Fire State Park: Arch Rock was beautiful And has more secluded areas than Atlatl I found. There are water spigots near each space so if you have a trailer, fifth wheel etc.. you would want to bring something to fill up with water to pour into the tank. The campgrounds fill up pretty fast so have a plan B just in case. Since there are no hookups it was 20$ per night (10$ park fee and 10$ camp site) Park rangers are very friendly and they drive thu the campground fairly regularly. Lots of trails nearby so the kids will be busy! Pets are welcome but must be on a leash. If your camping at Arch or Atl and decide to have a look outside the park, tell the Rangers at the fee area when you come back that you are staying on the campgrounds and they will wave you through. Firewood was 7$ at the info center which is a little pricey but easier than bringing from home. If you come in from I-15 there is a Chevron gas station to grab everything you forgot before heading to the campgrounds. Very peaceful place with absolutely no WiFi or phone (AT&T) but a great place to disconnect from the rat race. DO NOT FORGET YOUR CAMERA!!
