For Live Oak - Edisto Beach State Park: Great campsites nice clean bathrooms. Friendly hosts. Great bike trails (better than our rail trails at home). Nice beach but where your shoes because it has shells all over the place

For Live Oak - Edisto Beach State Park: Stayed at the Live Oak CG for 3 nights late January 2021 (site #26). Disappointed that the campsite was RIGHT beside #24 (I believe). The site was level and it was nice to be backed up to the marsh. The park was delivering new picnic tables (so that was a bonus). Showers were ok clean and hot. The Edisto Island beaches are great. Perfect for beach walking.

For Live Oak - Edisto Beach State Park: If you're looking for a quiet campground right next to the beach, Edisto Island SP is the one for you. We stayed at the ocean side campground and had a great time. Recommend a site overlooking the salt marsh, great sunsets. Definitely will come back. A couple of very minor drawbacks. WiFi only works near bathrooms, but good quality. Be sure to take a look at the map as all sites are not the same size. But a lot of spacious sites.
